Rapid Learning Institute (RLI) is pleased to announce the appointment of human resources expert Patrice M. Gaul to the position of Learning Consultant.
Patrice has a 20-year history in the human resources field. For the past nine years, she operated her own consulting business, Identity Security and Compliance Advisors, while simultaneously serving as special HR consultant to the Midatlantic Employers Association. In that capacity, Patrice provided HR services to the association’s 700 member companies.
Prior to running her own business, Gaul served as Senior Human Resources Generalist for Smiths Aerospace of Malvern, Pa. At Smiths, her duties included recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration training and performance management among others. She is also past president of the Chester County (Pa) Chapter of the Society of Human Resource Managers.
“RLI is a great fit for me,” Gaul says. “Having been on both sides of the business, I think I understand the challenges my clients face. And because RLI’s approach to sales is consultive, I’m not only selling, I’m educating, which is something I really enjoy doing.”
“Patrice Gaul is uniquely qualified for her new position,” says Glenn Eckard, RLI Chief Operating Officer. “Having been both a provider of HR services as well as a longtime HR executive, she brings a rare perspective to her work that will be of enormous value to our human resources clients. Patrice really understands their challenges and speaks their language. Add to that her terrific personality and charm, and it all adds up to a great hire for RLI.”
Rapid Learning Institute (RLI) provides online training and talent development tools for businesses, government agencies, nonprofits and educational institutions in the areas of sales, human resources, management, leadership and safety. RLI’s approach is founded on the idea that talent development can only be effective if managers make it a priority and follow up to ensure that learning sticks. The company’s signature five to 10 minute modules, called Quick Takes, help managers build their core competency as talent developers by giving them the tools they need to replicate in others the knowledge, skills, attitudes and behaviors that drive performance.
Based in Greater Philadelphia, RLI is an operating division of Business 21 Publishing, LLC
