Rapid Learning Institute (RLI) will showcase its bite-size e-learning solutions at the 2014 Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) Annual Conference and Expo in Orlando, FL.

Featuring a library of talent development modules that are six to 10 minutes long, RLI provides a unique and effective answer to the challenge of soft-skills training.

“The SHRM Expo is a great opportunity to discuss professional development issues with a variety of accomplished HR professionals,” said Glenn Eckard, COO and Co-Founder of RLI. “RLI’s approach to training has been celebrated by HR directors across numerous fields, and we look forward to discussing this track record of success with other leaders in the industry.”

Eckard was nominated earlier this year for HR Consultant of the Year by the Delaware Valley chapters of SHRM. This honor was in recognition of his and RLI’s innovative contribution to training and development.

Rapid Learning Institute will demonstrate its bite-sized content and reveal its research-based approach to training at the SHRM Exposition in Booth A71.

The 2014 SHRM Annual Conference and Expo will be held from June 22nd to the 25th at the Orange County Convention Center. With over 15,000 HR professionals in attendance, the conference will host 200 sessions and 700 exhibitors. Keynote speakers include Pulitzer Prize-winning author Thomas Friedman and former First Lady Laura Bush.

Rapid Learning Institute (RLI) provides online training and talent development tools for businesses, government agencies, nonprofits and educational institutions in the areas of sales, leadership and management, human resources, employment law compliance, and workplace safety. RLI’s approach is founded on three core principles: 1) Rapid Learning. Workplace training should be delivered in short bursts – just six to 10 minutes at a time. Today’s multi-tasking workforce has neither the time nor the attention span for traditional lengthy training formats. 2) Single-Concept Learning. People learn best when training is focused on a narrow concept where learning goals are clearly defined. When training is delivered in small packets, the brain can easily absorb, remember and apply what it learns. 3) Research-Based Learning. Training is most powerful when it’s grounded in verifiable research. When learners see training as credible, they’re more likely to translate the learning into on-the-job behavior. RLI’s signature six to 10 minute modules, called Quick Takes, incorporate these three ideas into unique training programs that get results.

Based in Greater Philadelphia, RLI is an operating division of Business 21 Publishing.
