Persevere and Succeed

Perseverance is the difference between success and failure for most salespeople, according to a survey by AMACOM, part of the American Management Association.

When salespeople were asked to answer a number of questions about sales techniques and product knowledge, there were very few differences between successful and average salespeople except in one dimension: the will to persevere.

Asked how many efforts they’d expend before giving up, the most successful refused to give a number.
