Rapid Learning Institute Honored as Bronze Stevie® Award Winner at 2012 American Business Awards

Winners in ABA’s First Tech and New Product Awards

EDDYSTONE, PA – Rapid Learning Institute (RLI), a Philadelphia based online e-learning company, won a coveted Stevie® Award in the Bronze category at the 10th Annual American Business Awards held September 18th in San Francisco.

The American Business Awards are the nation’s premier business awards program. All organizations operating in the U.S.A. are eligible to submit nominations – public and private, for-profit and non-profit, large and small.

Nicknamed the Stevies for the Greek word for “crowned,” the trophies were presented to winners during a gala banquet on Monday, September 17 at the Julia Morgan Ballroom. More than 200 nominees and their guests attended.

RLI won the Bronze in the category Best Training Site for its Compliance and Management Rapid Learning Center. The site is oriented toward professionals in the management, HR and leadership sectors and features online training delivered through the company’s Quick Take Rapid Learning® modules: six to ten minute talent development and training programs built around the principles of “chunked” learning and rapid knowledge delivery. The site also features RLI’s fast-read articles, long-form features, law and compliance guides, and online newsletters.

More than 3,000 nominations from organizations of all sizes and in virtually every industry were submitted this year for consideration in a wide range of categories, including Most Innovative Company of the Year, Management Team of the Year, Best New Product or Service of the Year, Corporate Social Responsibility Program of the Year, and Executive of the Year. Winners were selected by more than 270 executives nationwide who participated in this year’s judging process.
